Jikimee Stories

Jikimee is a Korean term that translates roughly to “community protector”. During the COVID-19 pandemic, 8 Korean American elders in the Jikimee Senior Leadership Group shared powerful stories of belonging and community. Hosted by the Korean Community Center of East Bay, these interviews highlight the strength of cultural identity and intergenerational bonds.
