AYPAL Intergenerational Elder Stories

In partnership with Asian Youth Promoting Advocacy and Leadership, the AAPI Elder Voices Project is working with high school students in Oakland to learn about the power of oral history and develop their oral history interview of elders in their family and community. In 2022, Mona Medina Safir interviewed their grandmother, Lorita Medina as part of this project.
